Angela Kelliher has always had an interest in art and paints for pleasure. Within the last few years Angela has sold and exhibited paintings.

Anne Crinion (Gilsenan), a well known photographer in the Meath Area, has been painting in oils, watercolours and acrylic for some time. After successfully completing a return to education course in 2005, she was awarded a FETAC (NCVA) Level 4 Distinction in Painting.

A mother of six and grandmother of eleven, Anne has lived in the town of Trim all of her life. Much of her work has been inspired by the beauty and surroundings of her native town.

June Smith took up painting in 2003. She went on to do the Back to Education (FETAC) level 4 painting course in the VEC and passed with distinction

She has been involved in several exhibitions with the art group since then, all of which were very successful.

Having reached almost retirement age Jenny decided to back to college and do an Art and Design Portfolio foundation course for which she received a distinction and a FETAC level 5 cert.

She found this course very challenging and continues to paint for pleasure receiving some commission work. She enjoys experimenting in different media and styles and especially loves painting animals and portraits.

June has been doing art for almost 5 years. In 2004 she did a FETAC Certificate level 4 with tutor Sean O’Dwyer and she passed with distinction. She loves doing art and she hopes it shows in her Art work.

A retired teacher I really enjoy painting with the Castle Art Group. It is a wonderful experience to meet friends on a regular basis and share our art expertise.
